AP Sr. Dr. Noralfishah Sulaiman attended a PhD viva session for Dr. Ahmad Farhan Roslan. The title of his doctoral thesis is “Framework for Implementing Risk-Sensitive Urban Development in Malaysia”. Ahmad Farhan was supervised by Prof. Terrence Fernando from ThinkLab, University of Salford, UK, Dr. Sara Biscaya from University of Huddersfield, UK and AP Sr. Dr. Noralfishah Sulaiman from KANZU Research, UTHM, Malaysia. Dr. Ahmad Farhan’s thesis was part of MOBILISE & TRANSCEND research projects. KANZU Research wishes that his doctoral contribution would become a great contribution to the existing knowledge and practices in urban planning, risk-sensitive urban planning, disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation (CCA), digital disaster risk management, resilient & agile cities for future knowledge structure for the safe, resilient, smart and agile Malaysia in particular. His PhD programme is the first University of Salford, UK-UTHM Split Site programme under the MOU (Salford-UTHM) signed in 2020.
